D-101 is a silicon compound that contains inorganic groups composed of silico-oxygen bonds, such as Si-OR, which is a colorless, low-viscosity liquid and is the most important tetraalkoxysilane in industry.

D-101 is very easy to hydrolyze and can react with water without any acid-base catalyst after contact with water. D-101 is hydrolyzed to a silanol group, which is quickly dehydrated to obtain a stable (-Si-o-si -) structure.
D-101 silane can be used alone, in dilution, or as a component of formulated products. Used in natural stones or other building materials, silica sol can be formed similar to inorganic substances (SiO2) to enhance the strength of the substrate.
D-101 can be used as an intermediate in sol-gel reaction.
In glass and plastic lens materials, D-101 provides ultra-hard scratch resistant coatings.
D-101 can be used as a crosslinker in silicone rubber systems.
During actual storage (sealed and unopened state), crystallization may occur at the bottom of drum when the ambient temperature is below -4 ℃. Before use, it is necessary to check for any crystallization. If crystallization has occurred, it should not be used directly. It is recommended to bake before use.
